Instructional Technology

In an effort to provide leadership for educational improvement, innovation, and qualitative instructional technology growth districts have access to a variety of technology services. CESA 9 school districts also are encouraged to contact us for individualized technology needs and service requests any time throughout the school year.

 CESA 9 and Safari Montage partner to provide Wisconsin an affordable video management system.

  • Instructional Technology Services
    Represent and advocate for CESA #9 schools on the CESA Instructional Services Council (CITSC) with DPI, DOA, ECB, and other CESA Consultants.
    Represent and advocate for CESA #9 schools regarding federal programs and initiatives including the Universal Service E-Rate.
    Coordinate collaborative networking sessions for district technology coordinators from CESA #9.
    Facilitate a User Group on targeted needs of system administrators/technicians.
    Provide timely update information related to technology planning, Title II D allocations, educational technology grants and funding opportunities.
    Convene consortia members and coordinate technology-related grant writing.
    Support individual and inter-district teacher inservice and training programs related to technology-based solution and effective integration into standards-based curricula

The National Educational Technology Plan outlines seven recommendations for policy makers and school leaders to consider:

  1. Strengthen ed-tech leadership at the state and local levels;
  2. Consider innovative budgeting;
  3. Improve teacher training;
  4. Support eLearning and virtual schooling initiatives;
  5. Encourage broadband access;
  6. Move toward digital content; and
  7. Integrate data systems
