Information and Technology Planning

Information Technology Planning Resources

PLEASE NOTE:  The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (WI - DPI) is still in the process of revising and updating the tech planning process. Continue to revise, update, and submit on either the DRAFT template at https://sites.google.com/a/dpi.wi.gov/infotechplan/ or submit via PDF or snail mail.

District Information and Technology Plans are still important!! You need a well developed plan for Priority II funding for e-rate and possible grant opportunities in the future.  ERATE resources can be found at: http://www.e-ratecentral.com.

CESA 9 provides E-rate application services to districts who subscribe to this purchased service. E-rate forms 470, 471, 472 and 486 are filed on behalf of these districts. We act as the contact for all funding requests, program integrity reviews, audits and appeals. We also handle routine E-rate activities such as SPIN number changes, information updates and requests for extensions. For more information:  http://www.cesa9.k12.wi.us/programs/erate.cfm.

Your district’s technology planning committee can create your own Google Site for your project and set permission to view for the team members. When your plan is ready for submission, send the URL to the DPI.
