The Daily 5 and The CAFÉ Book Study

Facilitator and CESA 9 Contact Person: Lynn Verage - 715-453-2141 ext. 225

3 sessions, 2 hours each session

Location: on-site

# of participants: up to 12 people per school/district

Dates: to be determined in consultation with principal or designated contact person

There has been a lot of interest in two books by “The Sisters”, The Daily 5 and The Café Book. Both books are practical guides for how to structure your classrooms so that teachers have the time to provide extra instruction to struggling students.

As Part of the Title I Network, we are offering two fee-for-service Book Studies on-site in your schools. Schools can opt for a 3-session book study for The Daily 5 or The Café Book. Each session is two hours. We did a pilot study and participants recommended that we do separate books studies for each book rather than a book study combining both books. Schools could have up to 12 teachers participate in the book study. The fee for the three sessions for up to 12 people, is a total of $800. Schools will need to purchase the books for their teachers. Please contact Lynn Verage if you want to schedule a book study in your school.
