Map It! Using Google Earth & Maps in Your Content Area
EVENT # 145-13
With Google Earth and Maps, students and teachers can explore every corner of the globe including its oceans, skies and even our solar system. Combine Google Earth/Maps with most any content area to create virtual expeditions or “trips” for use in the classroom. Measure distances, produce virtual tours and create custom multimedia annotations. Whether you teach literature, science, social studies or history, Google Earth & Google Maps can engage your students in exploring our world, its people and their interactions across the planet as it relates to your content area.
